So… I don’t know if you’ve heard, but Quinn and Rachel from that show, Glee? Yeah, they finally sing a duet together.

An entire season and eighteen episodes later, the protagonist and her antagonist finally have a song they can call their own. If you’re like me and have been eagerly waiting for a Rachel/Quinn duet, you’ve been waiting roughly one year and seven months. Hot damn, right?

But I’ll tell you this - it was well worth the wait. In this song, minus the show’s context (whatever it may be), you get the prettiest and most popular girl at school and the girl at the bottom of the social ladder relating to each other in ways that they never would’ve imagined. They sing a wonderfully executed mash-up which presents both their insecurities in the form of ‘Unpretty’ while adding a bittersweet touch from ‘I Feel Pretty’. Adam Anders truly outdid himself in sorting the arrangement. I can honestly say, without my bias for the ship, that ‘I Feel Pretty / Unpretty’ is easily one of the best songs they’ve ever done.

We admired the same kind of people. We had the same tastes. That informed the whole business. John and I were like twins. To find someone like that is pretty impossible.
